About Well Behaved

Hello Blog World! My name is Lauren, I'm 26 and work at the University of Delaware as a Prevention Specialist. My area of focus is prevention of sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and stalking. I started undergrad with an idea of what I wanted to do-and I ended up doing something entirely different. I became very passionate about the advocacy for victims of sexual assault, ipv, and stalking as well as prevention and education around this topic. Well Behaved comes from one of my favorite quotes "Well behaved women rarely make history" by Laura Thatcher. The women who have made history have broken numerous societal rules, traditions, and norms. While I don't necessarily aim to make it in the history books, I aim to make a difference and step outside the box. This blog will include random musings, reflections on my weight loss journey, things that piss me off in the media, thoughts on current events, etc. I welcome new friends!
